The key to SIMPOP is in the name, imagine a gathering of social innovators who showcase their product(s), share innovation ideas, best practices and their success stories, and network, network, network. 

NY Social Innovation Makers Pop-Up Market

Centre for Social Innovation New York invites YOU to join us for a Pop-Up Show Room on Aug 9th, 2019, in the Starrett-Lehigh Building, 3rd floor (601 W 26th St, Ste 325 in NYC). This focused new trade show is open for public from noon to 8pm, Friday August 9th.

Showroom will be open from noon to 8pm, with lightning talks going throughout the day and a keynote and reception starting at 6:30.

How can you participate?

As a visitor:

Buyers, industry professionals, store owners and the public are invited to meet up to 25 innovative products and makers as a lead in event to gift show weekend.

As a vendor: 

  • Rent 4.5 ft by 4.5 ft space for the whole day for $75 USD (no extra charge for a table and chairs);

  • Invite your network to attend;

  • Present your product(s) story for 7 mins to the live audience at the show and worldwide through social media;

  • Attend the keynote Speech about Social Innovation and Sustainable Product Making;

  • Come to the happy hour and network!

Vendor tables are available for CSI members as well as outside makers (craftspeople, designers, artisans, artists, etc). The vendor application is available online (https://tinyurl.com/y2cfa558), and asks vendors to describe their product's contributions to sustainability and social innovation. All vendors will be offered to give a lightning presentation or interview for seven minute product story clips for social media to document this innovation cluster.
