The Mission of The Kota Alliance is to be a nonprofit social enterprise incubator in New York City providing fiscal, physical, and programmatic support to startup civil society organizations and women-centered enterprises, whose work increases gender equality and empowers women and girls, locally and globally.

Our vision is to create a world center for women by bringing these organizations together under one roof to forge new alliances and spark collaborations.
We know that space rental is a major expense for many organizations, especially those starting out or operating on a smaller scale. By designating an architecturally remarkable, visually stunning, and functionally versatile space, we will support the activities of these organizations. Aside from subsidized work, conference, and event space, Kota will also provide other physical and virtual tools and services that organizations making a difference need. Administrative and programmatic benefits such as assistance with fundraising, member training, document and database organization, grant writing, etc. increases the efficiency and success of our member organizations.
Our mission is to reduce our members' overhead spending, so that they are able to channel more resources into their actual programs and mission as well as bring like-minded organizations together, fostering a physical proximity to foster collaboration.
