Midsummer 5K Run / Nordic Walk

The Menstrual Hygiene Day

The Kota Alliance celebrated the Menstrual Hygiene Day together with Hope and Dreams Initiative, BeGirl and Days for Girls. It was an inspiring evening with an incredible panel discussing about periods and global taboos. We want to thank everyone who joined the event and supported the good cause. In addition, a special thanks to all the panel speakers:  Liliana Tandon, Damaris Lewis, Jennifer Weiss-Wolf, David Brand, and Aga Wilson. 


CSW62 parallel event of The Kota Alliance: Storytelling for Women's Empowerment

The Kota Alliance's parallel event with NGOCSW during the Commission of the Status of Women (CSW62) of UN Women was a success despite the snow storm. The Kota Alliance is a hub and incubator for not-for-profit organizations, social enterprises, and women-owned businesses that share the like-minded goal of gender equality andwomen's empowerment. Currently working out of the Centre for Social Innovation (CSI), The Kota Alliance long term goal is to be working independently out of a World Center for Women via a social enterprise model.
