15-21 -year-old young woman in New York?
You might be the person we are looking for! The Dignity Project is a storytelling workshop for young women to learn new digital skills and share stories empowering one another. 12 participants will be selected for the program based on your application here.
Workshops Tuesdays and Thursdays 6- 9 pm
Program will run July 16 - August 8, 2019
Workshops will be held in the Women's Lab at the Centre for Social Innovation, 601 West 26th St. (room 315), NY NY 10001
The program is free of charge for the participants selected. Refreshments and equipment for the projects will be provided. At the end of the program each participant will receive a certificate for successful participation of the eight sessions. A public screening of the videos will be held in early September.
Deadline for the application is July 1, 2019
The Dignity Project will be taught by filmmaker Arilyn Martinez Cora, with assistance from Saba Ismail of Aware Girls and possible guests.
