Reports of domestic violence were rising as the coronavirus pandemic forced countries to restrict the movement of their citizens, and victims of domestic violence suddenly found themselves trapped at home with their abusive partners. Even if countries are taking first steps toward reopening, the situation is still on.
The Kota Alliance will host a panel discussion Domestic Violence in the COVID Era where three experts from the field will address challenges of lockdown and their responses to ease the situation. They will also share their advice to women and men who might be living in an abusive home.
Moderator:
Richard Lui - MSNBC
