KOTA WELLNESS: Women and Mental Health under COVID

Mental health needs exacerbated under COVID; how are they being met by civil society organizations?

Women especially have been hard hit, as they occupy positions in the labor market that have been subjected to severe cuts, particularly In retail and service industries. Add to this the responsibilities of taking care of children out of school or daycare, household, and often the older generation and there is no time left for taking care of their own needs.

How are civil society organizations helping to meet these challenges, while at the same time perhaps themselves under financial stress? We have gathered a panel of representatives of some of our partner organizations working with these issues. We invite organizations and individual women entrepreneurs in the field to submit comments and join us to share information, ideas and inspiration among fellow activists!
