PURPOSE Gala & Benefit Concert

  • Midtown Loft & Terrace 267 5th Avenue New York, NY 10016 (map)

On this night, we are all refugees - we are all bonded by one body, one blood, one purpose.

PURPOSE gala by Stand for Education will support girl’s education, help refugee youth and underprivileged children access opportunities in education and creative arts, as well as provide them and their communities with the tools they need to make the world a better place.

All funds will directly benefit and expand youth programs in South Sudan, Haiti, Syria and USA through Stand for Education, Inc., a charity organization founded by Mari Malek. Be part of the change in building a brighter, stronger village for our children.

PURPOSE Gala kicks off the red carpet at 6 PM with a cocktail hour and meet-and-greet. Piers Lawrence and Keer Deng regale us with their melodic keys as PURPOSE Art Exhibition is up for viewing and bidding, featuring works by Swoon HQ, Patrick Dougher, Cecila Collantes, Luca Vigorelli, Bruno Feder and Laolu Senbanjo aka “Laolu NYC.”

At 7 PM, you are invited to an empowering panel discussion of community leaders intersecting arts and activism.

At 8 PM, we will celebrate honorees as we dine on a Middle Eastern cuisine.

At 9 PM, doors will open to our benefit concert headlining the incredible Natu Camara with an opening act from Farrah Boule. Bidding on PURPOSE Art Exhibition continues, ending at 10 PM. Enjoy the music and dance the night away!
