Girl Be Heard develops, amplifies, and celebrates the voices of young women through socially conscious theatre-making. They envision a world in which every girl is valued as a leader and change-maker. Girl Be Heard runs weekend and after-school theatre education programs throughout NYC, giving youth a supportive community to create and perform work on the issues they care about. Girl Be Heard has regularly performed at the United Nations, City Hall, the White House, and TED conferences, bringing girls' voices to the forefront.
