Free Workshop: Know Your Human Rights as an Immigrant

A free Kota sponsored workshop hosted by VIA (Venezuelans and Immigrants Aid), 2/27/2020 6:00-8:00 pm

With the participation of Damarys Rangel, lawyer and international advisor in Human Rights; Yonatan Mathews, social worker and human rights activist for LGBT and Trans people; Beatriz Borges, lawyer and defender of Human Rights; Juan C. Mogollon, lawyer and human rights activist.

Among other topics to discuss will be: The identification of Universal Human Rights and the documentation of cases when they are violated. Asylum as a HR. Venezuelans as refugees and the "Principle of Non-Return." International Protection and the TPS.
