Come join us at Kota Alliance for an evening of sharing, learning, and connecting with fellow doulas.
This in-person event provides a safe space for doulas to discuss their experiences, challenges, and triumphs in a supportive environment.
The discussion will focus on managing obstetric emergencies. Whether you're a seasoned doula or just starting out, this circle is open to all who are passionate about supporting birthing individuals and families. Share your stories, ask questions, and build community with like-minded individuals.
Facilitator is Dr. Jaana Rehnstrom, Kota's founder and President who is herself a retired ob/gyn, and invited guest Dr. Susan Grant, also retired ob/gyn .
We can't wait to see you there!
📍 Location & Accessibility
The Kota Alliance is located in the Sugar Hill neighborhood with walking distance from the A/B/C/D 145th Station and C 155th Station, along the M3 bus line.
Parking is very limited, with few street spots; the nearest paid lots are at 414 W 155th St and 457 W 150th St. Please note that our historic building currently lacks wheelchair accessibility (we are actively fundraising to change this). There are steps up from street level, as well as additional steps in the house. We are happy to answer any queries you may have.
Please note that by attending the event, you consent to film or photos from the event, potentially including your image, being shared publicly.
