With talented jazz bassist Kaisa Mäensivu and her band will play two sets, you can stay for the whole time. Space is limited, so book early!
Kaisa Mäensivu, 32, graduated from Sibelius Academy and Manhattan School of Music. She won the International Riga Jazz Stage Bass Competition in 2018, and has been awarded The Esko Linnavalli Composition Prize and the Pori Jazz Young Artist Award, among others.
Mäensivu leads and plays in several ensembles. She has released two albums. The third album is currently being recorded in New York.
This year, Mäensivu has started as the artistic director of Helsinki's Savoy JAZZFest. She lives in New York with her American husband, drummer Joe Peri.

Children welcome! One room set aside for those who want to watch the football game. This room also has toys and books for children - but you need to watch them yourself. Family tickets available for 2 adults with up to 3 minor children. Children under 3 are free, so just buy the adult tickets in that case.
Please note: unfortunately our building is not yet fully accessible - no elevator. There are 4 steps to the first floor, and a flight of stairs to the second floor , where the main activities will take place.
